The Prince William Network teamed up with noted ornithologists and environmentalists to produce this field trip which was broadcast from a Wildlife Center in Weyers Cave, Virginia. Students learn about the geological and morphological adaptations of birds that have allowed them to survive and flourish over thousand of years. The program also introduces students to migration patterns and bird banding projects and teaches viewers how to conserve and protect bird habitats in their area. Live birds are featured.
